Help Step1Runner

If you would like to help out this site, please subscribe to the posts in one of three ways.

  1. Sign up to receive free updates via RSS.
  2. Sign up to receive free updates via email.
  3. Follow brettstep1 on Twitter.

Why Subscribe?

By subscribing you will be able to read a concise, helpful article about running. Every weekday I will post something I think would be helpful or interesting to someone passionate about running.

What Is RSS?

RSS is an acronym for Really Simple Syndication. It is a way to gather news, posts and changes from different websites around the internet in one place for easy reading. I highly recommend Google Reader. It is highly customizable and easy to add and discover interesting sites.

Not more emails!

I understand that your inbox may already be crammed with email. If RSS or Twitter are not viable alternatives for you, that’s fine. Feel free to bookmark the site and check back for updates. I hate spam as much as anyone, and your email address will never be sold or used for anything at all other than notifying you of new articles.

All the options can be canceled or unsubscribed from at any time.

Please let me know if there is any particular running-related article, book review or news that is interesting and post-worthy. If you have any comments, questions or advice please leave a comment below or contact me on twitter.

Advertising, product reviews and guest-posting.

Step 1 Runner is a low-advertising site. I generally will only have 1-3 ads on the main page for products I truly admire. I am happy to do non-paid, non-biased reviews of products. Advertising, product or guest-posting inquiries can all be directed to brett [at] step1network [dot] com.

A note about affiliate links.

Occasionally I will link to an item from Amazon. If you follow this link and purchase either the product I linked to and/or anything else while you are on Amazon, Step1Runner gets a tiny commission from the sale. The item(s) cost exactly the same whether or not you use an affiliate link, so there is absolutely no downside for you. I would greatly appreciate each little bit as it will allow me to continue to provide the best content possible.

Thanks for visiting Step1Runner.com.
